Oh yea right after my best friend I called my parents (who again knew) and sent them a pictures since they hadn’t seen the actual ring (only the mock up , he didn’t get the ring till we drove to Maryland, he had it sent there from New York) and then Texted his family in our family chat with the same pictures I sent my parents

My mom, my FH aunt and fmil. Then a handful of my closest friends. Then two days later Facebook 😂
We kept our engagement news to ourselves because we were just so excited (and everyone basically knew!) We drove to see my parents and told them first. We then called/Skyped my grandparents (since it was their birthday) to share the news. After that, I called my best friends, brother, and other relatives.
He proposed in front of my parents, sister & brother in law while we were on vacation. When we got back to the states I sent a group message to all of my aunt's & uncle's. Then he called his parents.
He proposed to me during a couples photo shoot that we had. His brother and sister in law were the photographers, and when we continued walking into the building both our families were there. The first person I called was my best friend Lydia and we FaceTimed and gushed about the ring and proposal!
Technically in a group message with my 3 best friends since we were all expecting it to happen that weekend, but the first in person was actually his sister because she picked up the phone before his mom did.
