Who picked out your ring?

FH picked out my engagement ring with help from his mom, he didn't know what I liked and she has done some digging into my pinterest board secretly. But he picked it and she told him yes. I am picking out my own band though

I told my fiancé what I liked as I preferred a pear cut in rose gold, but he selected the diamond and customized it with IDC with my sister! We will be picking out wedding bands together later this year.

I picked out my engagement ring. I rarely wear jewelry and since this is the one piece I will wear until I die, I wanted it to be something I really liked. My FH says it is perfect on me and that he would have never picked it out for me. I absolutely love the emerald cut.

My FH picked out my ring all on his own. My mom has a family heirloom ring that I absolutely love and he found one that reminded him of that ring. I love my ring now, but when he first proposed with it, it wasn't what I had imagined my engagement ring to look like. After a few hours of it on my finger I started to love it and now I can't imagine any other ring. We picked out our own wedding bands.

My DH didn't have a clue how to look for an e ring, so we went together a couple of times. He wanted it to be mostly a surprise when he finally made the plunge so he asked me to go to the local jewelry stores and leave notes about which ones I liked as long as they were within our budget. I found one I was certain would be the one, but he picked out one even better based on the notes I left. I ended up with a bigger stone than I had asked for and a beautiful wedding band to match. We will be adding the final band for the 3 ring set when we have our marriage celebrations in June.

FH designed my engagement ring with the help of the jeweler, using his great grandmothers diamond and my son's birthstone. It was exactly what I said I didn't want, and it is the most beautiful ring I have ever seen. I asked for a white gold, round cut, solitaire. I got a white gold, three stone, marquise cut. Together the stones are so beautiful. I would have never picked it out myself, but he did an amazing job. He also knew that I don't like the wedding bands that are shaped around the engagement ring so the jeweler put it in an elevated setting so I didn't have to get a band like that. Then FH and I picked out wedding bands together, with the help of the jeweler.

FH wanted to pick out my engagement ring on his own - I mean I still sent him pictures of what I liked lol. But he surprised me, he didn't pick the original princess cut I wanted, but I still love my ring.

We went shopping to a few stores, and I told him different ones that I liked at each store. He made the final choice but, he said, when he saw how much I liked a certain one, he knew he wanted to get that one.

The setting itself, at that time, was tarnished and had no stones, but we both knew it was the one after talking to our jeweler about it.
