My fiance and I just got engaged, we are in OKC. We're scouting out planners and venues. Does anybody have recommendations for wedding planners/coordinators? I was quoted $1000 for a full-service planner w/ assistant (unlimited meetings, day-of coordination included); I really like her but I wouldn't feel right if I didn't check out at least 1 or 2 more.

That's an amazing price, but I totally understand the need to compare with a few more planners!

I choose to be my own planner. ( This is my second wedding) I took a course online for wedding planning to make sure I didn't forget anything. Definitely get more than one quote and go with the planner that best fits your budget, style & personality! That is a great price for an all inclusive planner, but make sure to do your research and read reviews!
