Who is your flower girl going to match?

All the weddings I've been to, the flower girl has worn white/ivory to match the bride, with possibly a little pop of color added. The bridal salon where I bought my gown told me that no one is supposed to match the bride, flower girl included. So I googled it, and it seems some people match the FG...

So I googled it, and it seems some people match the FG to the bride and others to the bridesmaids. I'm just wondering what everyone else is doing?

The flower girl is supposed to symbolize the bride as a child. That is what I have always been told and in ever wedding I've been to the flower girls are in white. David’s Bridal even has FG dresses to match some of their wedding gowns.

All that aside, there's no right or wrong way to do it, but my flower girl will be in white!

My dress was ivory and my flower girls wore blush. My bridesmaids had dresses that were gold & blush.

Our colors are white, grey, and yellow. The flower girls will wear yellow. The BMs will wear grey dresses and yellow shoes.

My FG is wearing dress with same tulle skirt and sparkly top to kinda reflext off mine. But she will be blush, as BP will be lilac, and wanted FG & RB their own.

Bridesmaids are wearing long black dresses and the groomsmen are wearing black button ups with khakis, so we're letting the kids wear whatever color they want! We're having a casual beach wedding, and I think it'd be cute for the flower girl and ring bearer to wear something colorful.

My flower girl is going to be dressed like Princess Tiana. Her drrss is different in color than everyone but falls inline with the scheme. Kinda hard to explain but it works lol

Our colors are maroon/grey with the bm in maroon and the gm in grey. I couldn't find a flower girl dress that would match the bm though so I am having her in grey and she will match the ring bearer essentially.

My dress is blush. My Flower girls are wearing ivory but that's just because that's the dress I liked. I would have bought white/ivory/blush as long as I liked the dress
