Anyone growing their hair long for their wedding? I'm still kind of torn on it. I want beautiful long curled hair for my wedding, but I also know that I'm picturing hair that I just don't have I think this is just the on-going internal struggle of me wanting long hair but also realizing I look...

I think this is just the on-going internal struggle of me wanting long hair but also realizing I look much better with shorter hair grrr

Any tips from those who did? Or lack or regrets from those who didn't?

I'm growing mine out as much as I can, but in November I got a hair cut by a different stylist and she gave me these layers that look really bad as they are growing out. I'm hoping my regular stylist can fix it up while keeping the overall length. I only have 4 months to go... I'm wearing my hair down for the wedding.

I'm growing mine out. I know it doesn't actually grow your hair but I've been putting coconut oil in mine a few times a week and have noticed a big difference! It's much healthier, which will make it grow a bit faster!

I'm growing my hair out too. Its currently just past my shoulders. Due to the design of the back of my dress, my stylist will be doing a low up do. My plan is to cut a few inches off after the wedding. Although FH's daughter just announced her engagement with an August wedding date...so we'll see if I cut it or maintain.

BTW, FH complains about having to pick up hair off of the bathroom floor.

I've always had layers so I have been trying to grow it out during the past year so it's all at one length. It's pretty much at one length now and goes to almost the middle of my back. I don't think it is going to grow any further :/ my hair stylist said it's normal for hair to stop growing after it's at its "healthy" length. I am thinking of adding some extensions to make it fuller on the day.

I am growing mine out a little. But have been for a while, for dance I'm kind of over it but I won't cut it since I want a slide side swept number. But I'm over my hair. I'll get a hefty trim when I get done with the wedding.

I am currently growing my hair out. Right before FH proposed, I chopped off my hair! It was a good look on me, but not what I wanted for my wedding, so I'm trying to grow it out a bit. Right now I'm just to my shoulder blades. I'm keeping my hair cut super basic until I decide what to do with my hair for the wedding - then I'll get it cut appropriately.

Nicolita you are so brave!!! It looks SO amazing though. I wanted to chop all of mine off and everyone I know said don't do it until after the wedding. I'm actually kind of glad they talked me about of that cause I honestly probably would have regretted it. Mine has been long for as long as I can remember.

Ugh trying to. I made the mistake (although not sure i regret it too much, it needed it) of cutting my hair short back in May thinking for sure it would grow back by wedding time, it always does. Well now there are 5 months left and I feel like it is still so short!!! Normally it is down to my lower back. I have tried taking biotin but I have no idea if it is actually making a difference at all.

I'm growing my hair out and hating every minute of it. It gets stuck under my purse strap just about every day. If people didn't compliment me on it and say how nice it will look for the wedding I would have chopped it off long ago.

Extentions!! My hair stylist was on the bachelor and she recommended this one brand that was 300 and was beautiful. I dyed my hair lighter so i got cheapo ones for 110 and they are awesome!! I'll post a pic

I've been growing mine since March...not really planning on wearing it down, but wanted to have plenty to work with so I can have a full-looking up do. I CANNOT WAIT until after the honeymoon for my chop. I mean, I love the cute long pony tail look, but I'm over drying and styling all this hair every morning. Soon. Very, very soon.

I grew mine out for my wedding. Ugh, I HATED it while it was long and my bangs were long, but I wanted a nice updo. Like you I was worried about what it would look like because I have super thin straight hair. But my hair stylist was AMAZING and she made my hair look amazing.

If you want long curly hair for your wedding then grow it out and find a good hair stylist. They can make it happen.

Meeeee. I doubt it will get as long as the pics I'm seeing here but I want to get it as long as I can so I have a lot to work with. I love love love shorter hair but I feel like with the headpiece I want it would make me look top heavy.

My hair is the longest it's ever been! But I'm still trying to grow it out longer, I need to get a trim before our engagement photos because my ends are getting pretty bad.

Growing mine out now! I chopped 11 inches off the month after FH proposed and it has already grown immensely. I'll post a before (January 2015) and now. I actually have the same inspiration picture for day of Smiley smile I have naturally fast growing hair, but I have also been getting a trim every 2 months and taking a multivitamin with biotin just to keep it healthier. I very rarely color (just had highlights done for the first time in 4 years), and only blow-dry and style when I need to.

I'm growing mine out for the wedding. It's already past my shoulders and if it could stop tangling that would be great.
