Who is getting married in 2020?

Hey! I’m Heather. We are getting married on February 1, 2020 in Yosemite, CA. So far all we have booked is our venue (includes catering) and our photographer. Next up will be our dj and officiant but we are waiting a little bit before we book those.

April 25th 2020 in the Lehigh Valley area of PA
Got the venue, dj and photographer booked already. The dress and bought and paid for.

Wedding is May 16, 2020 in Cooperstown, NY. Venue booked is inclusive of catering and wedding cake! Colors, theme and bridal party chosen. In the midst of the contract with the photographer. DJ is up next!

I originally wanted a Christmas wedding on 12/19/19, but after thinking about the costs(December is a high season here) family and friends having to take off and spend money (even though we'd be perfectly fine without gifts and other things just want friends and family to enjoy the day with us) during a time when youre already spending alot just seemed like a bit much. February is an off month here and alot of friends and family will be in town for Mardi Gras during the week of. FH loves being different and odd so as soon as he realized leap day would be a Saturday that year. He didn't want to do anything else. So yeah. I didnt feel like that was an issue to fight over. Since then I've started to really like the idea of having an unconventional wedding date.

Currently searching for a venue have looked at a couple just trying to find the perfect one!!
Have all the bridal party picked out (just have to ask them lol), have a guest list started trying to make sure I'm not leaving people out. It feels so far away but I dont want to procrastinate and forget something!!

That is so cool!!! It sounds like you're going to be partying hard in between Mardi Gras and your wedding day!! So if you do end up getting married on Leap Day, will you and your FH celebrate your anniversary every four years or on February 28/March 1? I feel like you've probably been asked that before, but I am insanely curious.

We'll be celebrating with a vacation or weekend getaway every Leap Day but every year other than Leap Year, we'll celebrate every March 1st with a dinner or something small. I love being able to use that as an excuse to get away and just spend time with him.
