Who is getting married in 2020?

I’m getting married July 11,2020 in Virginia!! As of now we have only looked at venues and that will probably be it for this years planning. I also plan to start buying things for the wedding little by little.

Jennifer- February 2020! Austin, TX (but we live in Houston). We’re planning on looking at a venue in a few months but it’s sorta picked based on online and speaking with coordinator. Just waiting to see in person before putting down the deposit.

And my my plan is to by little by little and I’ve been so excited looking for ideas online. Yet, today I saw these gorgeous votives in the color I want on sale but couldn’t go through with buying because I kept thinking “it’s two years away! What if I change my mind or find something better later on???!!” Lol when do you plan on making any decor/bridal purchases??

We are starting to look at venues this weekend. I actually already bought shoes because I have been obsessed with a pair and Nordstrom’s had them on sale after Christmas! We are going to do little by little and just enjoy it.

So I’ve already replied but we’ve already changed major details! Lol I guess that’s the pro (and con) of starting so early!! Instead of going 3 hours away to Austin we are staying right here in the Houston area and instead of Feb. it’s now March lol

On a whim, I went to look at the golf course facilities in my subdivision and it’s PERFECT!! I had assumed it was totally out of our budget and it came out to a little under our original venue in Austin since we’re residents of the HOA. Of course, this means our guest list grew since we’re having it right here where everyone lives, but even so, it’s still in our budget.

And the month changed because we had this horrible freak hard freeze for a week in Jan. and it killed all the grass everywhere. So now I’m worried about Feb. weather and a ceremony on a dead grass, yellow golf course 😂

Hoping for 2/29/20 (Leap Day!) We've looked into venues so far. Hoping to book that part this month. Chose my bridesmaids, flower girls, ring bearers, and officiant (is a mutual close friend). We know who we want to do photography, so we're going to book that later this month, he has a package that includes engagement session, so we figured we would book early and get those done for save the dates. We've looked into colors, favor ideas, and invitation ideas. I'm in school Jan-Dec, so when I'm on break I get bored. This break I just happened to plan almost half the wedding.

We have found our venue, we actually go this coming Saturday to finalize the contract. Next we plan on looking for caterer.

We are wedding date twins!!!

Amanda, Feb 15th, Austin, Texas! It will be our 10th anniversary! We have a venue secured already because we wanted to get that out of the way as soon as possible so we wouldn't have to worry about it. Not sure what we will do next... Maybe get a guest list together so we can have a more solid idea on guest count instead of a rough estimate.

Hey fellow February Austin bride! Where are you thinking for the venue? As far as decor/ bridal purchases, I have a basic idea and color scheme picked out so I don't mind picking up little things here and there. I will probably be more serious about decor at the end of the year. I plan on buying my dress a year out so it has time to come in and have alterations. Most boutique dress places here take at least 6 months for dresses to be delivered so I think its okay to buy that early. I know its two years away but I can't help but do little things here and there because I'm just too darn excited!

I know it’s a tourist-y restaurant but the ballrooms on the top floors have amazing views and it’s crazy affordable! I emailed with the coordinator a bunch and she’s super nice and helpful. We haven't planned much since it is so far away (time wise). The only thing is we have found and booked a venue and set the date of course. Gotta give guests enough time to plan travel. Otherwise we are taking the planning slow for now.

We are looking at venues that make you feel far away from the Vegas life.
We have picked out our colors and a few venues which we like. I want to start scheduling tours soon. I am excited about a long engagement though. Just going to take things slow and enjoy my time with my FH and try not to stress.

I’m Kiara. We’re getting married on October 24th, 2020. We’re still unsure on the location but most likely in Napa, California!

We have somewhat looked into our guest list and now we’re just looking to finalize. Next step is to decide how we want to do our wedding. We’re debating between city hall and a ceremony at a venue.

My FH lives in Napa so I figured that would be. good place to look at venues but I also want a simple wedding like city hall so we aren’t sure yet.
