We aren’t having any special readings. But we are reading our own vows to one another.

We're picking a passage out of the bible and having our kids (my son, his 2 daughters) read it during a certain part in our ceremony.

We probably won't be having any special readings, to be honest.

Both. We had three readings. My aunt, one of my best friends who was huge support during the wedding planning process who is also friends with my husband, and another one of my friends who came a long way and changed her plans to make it to the wedding. My husband's friend he's known since they were born weeks apart played the processional song for us. I would probably count him as family.

Surprised how many people don't do this. Readings definitely don't have to be religious. Or long. Our ceremony was only 15 minutes long including the processional and recessional, which were rather long walks.

We asked our respective godfathers to do the readings and we might ask one of our friends who is a good singer to do the Psalm since that's kind of sung/read.

Yes, we had two readings, neither of which were religious and two songs. Our ceremony was less than 30 minutes.

We aren't having one. We'll say our vows and keep it quick, light hearted and fun.
