Who is considered to be "the wedding party"?

Mrs Cheapskate, on March 30, 2015 at 10:07 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4

Ok, Im editing this a little. I realize that everyone who is at the rehearsal should be invited to the dinner. For purposes of the rehearsal dinner, fmil said the parents and the wedding party (plus spouses) could be invited. So, obviously me and fh, our mohs(2), his Bm and 1 Gm. But what about my personal attendant, the reader, the pianist? Do they count as being in the wedding party? Do these people come to the rehearsal?

I would say if they are at the rehearsal they need to be at the rehearsal dinner.

I don't believe they count as the wedding party, but that doesn't mean you can't invite them! I agree with Mrs. in May. If they are at rehearsal they should be at the dinner... it's to thank them for participating in the rehearsal.

Ok, so do I have the reader, my personal attendant, and the pianist at the rehearsal?

We are having my MOH and bridesmaids, bestman and GMs, flower girls, officiant, parents, MC and any spouses. I think in total we have almost 40 people for the rehearsal dinner because of spouses. Honestly, anyone who is going to be at your rehearsal should be invited to the dinner.
