Who else is trying not to fall in to the "Badgley Mischka‎" shoe trap?

As a fashionista and bride, it is quite difficult. My goodness. Trying to find alternatives because the shoes I want are $300+!! =/ I can't justify that. Any one else have this problem? And did you win or lose the battle?

These are the ones I'm selling-- They're peep toe leopard print pony hair stilettos I bought on a whim in Vegas in 2011 when I won $5k playing roulette.

I'm not sure which I'll buy-- depends on what I end up getting for mine I suppose. My deal with myself was to add no more than $200 to the profit to buy new ones...we'll see how that goes...

Loubs are cut sooo narrow. I have a narrow foot and I think they're narrow. I just found realllyyyyy pretty gold sparkly louboutins on Poshmark...slowly becoming obsessed...

Also, I'd recommend Poshmark for anyone looking for good prices on pre-owned Louboutins and other designer clothes/bags/shoes.

I'm not sure what they are, but I'm wearing cowboy boots! They give me just enough heal to not feel short and dumpy, I can dance and walk in them and I then won't be taller than my groom! Not to mention I'll be able to wear them countless times after...forever.

"nooooo,no no no..I wasn't ready..." (in my Kevin Hart voice)

Why did I click on this??? Now I'M obsessed. Thanks a lot guys!

But I'm too nervous to order from online, never having tried them on. I'd be too scared that I'd need a half size difference, on way or the other, or that I'd hate them once they were actually on my feet or they hurt or something. Do you ladies just return them if that happens?

@Laura - If I do decide to go that route, I will visit my nearest Nordstrom's, Macy's or Dillard's or something to try them on to figure out how they feel and sizing. Which could be very very dangerous. LOL

That's a good idea, bc then you can also compare the in-store price to the online price to make sure you're really getting a good deal.

Are his shoes comfortable? I have a pair of silver peep toe Badgley's that make my feet numb after a little bit (they are 4 inches and I need 4 inches for my wedding shoes..)

Also, has anyone tried David Tutera's shoes before? There is a pair of 5 inch sling backs Im so tempted to buy but I've never worn more than 4 inch heels and I haven't perfected wearing those either!

Absolutely not, no way in hell. For one, I will be in flats - flats that will not be seen under my dress. Second, I cannot justify splurging on shoes I will never wear again. Every two years I buy a pricey pair of hiking boots - Merrells - that I can easily put 200 miles on if not more. I obviously cannot put mileage on a pair of heels.

I lost the battle - but found a pair on overstock. Although I am mad -- looks like others got a better deal. You go girls
