Who else is trying not to fall in to the "Badgley Mischka‎" shoe trap?

As a fashionista and bride, it is quite difficult. My goodness. Trying to find alternatives because the shoes I want are $300+!! =/ I can't justify that. Any one else have this problem? And did you win or lose the battle?

    The original shoes I bought were Kate Spade. $328.00, but the glitter is too course for my tulle dress. So i had to buy another pair that were perfect (Gold fine glitter and a bow), but they were $150.00... lol I use "had to" loosely.

    I won!!! My parents offered to buy me shoes cause they heard my plan of "shoes don't matter, no one sees them". We spent hours scouring shoe stores, and in the end decided dyed shoes were the way to go. I was looking for a pump in light pink or gray, with less than 3" heel and nothing came close. A few days later I found a perfect pair at Walmart for $25 and I bought them. Hehehehe. I'm not really a shoe person though, except for my running shoes.

    I bought the same pair of Kate Spades as Kimberly, but got them during their black Friday sale for $175

    @Livelybride, I have a pair but they are low heel, platform sling backs so Yup they are fine. The higher the heel, the less comfy. Even my Cole Haan with Nike Air support hurt after a while, Those have a 4 1/2 inch heel and a platform.

    My most comfy shoes EVER that I can dance in all night:

    I had a pair that broke in September and I just bought another pair. Love these.

    I looked at that style too, but my dress is a very delicate (and super $$&dollarSmiley winking tulle and I don't want the jewels to snag the fabric :/ they are DREAMY though!!!! I ended up going with a sparkly pair from Betsy Johnson, that I got on sale for $50 and they look just right!

    I also had a lot of married friends tell me that no one saw their shoes... they were only seen in photos. So...might want to spend that money elsewhere! But that's just my opinion.

    @Celia - I would feel terribly guilty spending $300+! I can't justify that! Ugh

    Not gonna lose that battle!! I choose comfort over "cuteness" I'm not a high heel fan so its easy for me.. plus I don't spend more than $100 on a pair of shoes... i just don't...

    My wide feet are keeping from them. Probably a good thing.

    I lost. I found four pair of shoes I loved, bought all four figuring that they weren't even costing me half the price of the Badgley Mischka shoes. However months later I caved and figured I would order them and be done with it just so I would be happy, then it couldn't find the ones I wanted in my size or color! I scoured the internet for weeks before finding them brand new on ebay, I paid $160.00 for them which was pretty awesome considering I was willing to dish out $245.00.
