Who else is getting married in 2023 or 2024? What are you doing wedding related to keep yourselves busy in the mean time? I want to be proactive so me and my FH wont be stressed when the time nears. I'm open to any advise.

Im may 6h of 2023!! i started to plan already. hes a volunteer fire fighter so we are doing the reception there and then our local church for the ceremony. i checked into a bunch of places for just ceremony only and couldn't come to terms with paying 1200 to 2400 for JUST 15 mins tops.
I was proposed to on 9/21/21 and we started to look at venues the first week in October. If you haven't started looking for venues, do so now! We have already booked our venue for 9/23/23 and our venue only has 1 more September weekend available in 2023! Lots of venues had our date already booked as well. We already booked our photographer and baker for our cake. With COVID, everything has been pushed back and things are going quick. I spoke with 4 DJs that are already booked for our date as well. Do as much as you can, then you'll have a longer time to pay on things as well if you aren't getting a lot of family financial help! I even spoke with a few officiants that are booking into 2025. It's a crazy world for weddings! Good luck and feel free to reach out with any questions!❤
Getting married 2023! Just booked a venue so I have peace of mind! Just trying to figure out what color scheme I want by ordering swatches so I can find good deals on decor from previous season! About a ask a couple people to be in the wedding but not all of them just the people I forsure know I want to stand up! Also just trying to save as much as possible while buying Christmas gifts!
I’m getting married in 2023! So far I’ve been looking at venues and narrowed it down to 2. We’ve looked at dis, hair and makeup. Still deciding on what type of food we want and wedding attire for our party
I have booked my venue, catering, working on my photographer now along with how I am styling my hair and make up. My future mil has been a huge help with the planning process. By this time next year I should have everything done and planned for my wedding in Sept of 2023

Venues are ridiculously priced and you get so little time in them to prep and prepare! I am so fortunate to have found a GORGEOUS venue that we are able to be in from Thursday through Sunday as long as we need. It does have a heafty price tag, but I couldn't pass up my dream barn wedding. Thank you to your FH for his volunteer service. We need more like him out there!
We are getting married on April 2023! First things we booked were our church and venue followed by a month if coordinator and our photographer/videographer. These items were priority to us and now we are waiting until next year to continue the rest of our wedding planning. But we can at least take a deep breath for now!
We are getting married October 7th, 2023. We have our venue, DJ, officiant, and photographer done. We are waiting to hear back from a caterer. I have just been looking up different vendors in our area and getting whatever pricing possible.
We are waiting until October of 2023 to get married because we are moving to TN in the beginning of 2023 and want to have a backyard wedding. We want October for the foliage and leaves change 😍. Right now we are working on color schemes and looking into cratering options we may be interested in.
Getting married in March of 2023! We secured our venue and chose our wedding party. We are waiting to look into photographers and DJS until next year, but researching now to narrow down who we want to reach out to.
I'm doing fake flowers so those will be ordered next year, and dress shopping in January to give a little over a year for alterations. I will also have my wedding party pick out their dresses by March to give them a year for alterations or if they change their mind. I think the main thing is to get your venue chosen and the date secured. You can't hire anyone until you know when and where you'll be! Go on pinterest and think of what kind of centerpieces you want, sometimes you can DIY and that will take up time for sure.
Congrats on your engagement!! April 2023 over here! We have booked our venue, photographer, videographer and florist! I was alittle worried about starting too early but all vendors we spoke to were already booking for 2023 so now Iam happy we started early! Less stress and more time to save. Next up to find a dj and then taking a break for the holidays. We want to do alot of diy signage so to keep busy In the meantime I have been looking at alot of pinterest inspos also looking out for some blackfriday etsy sales! Happy planning!
