Who else is getting married in 2023 or 2024?

Who else is getting married in 2023 or 2024? What are you doing wedding related to keep yourselves busy

in the mean time? I want to be proactive so me and my FH wont be stressed when the time nears. I'm open to any advise.

When we were that far out I started by booking all the vendors we could! With covid things are already booking into 2024.

After that was all done I chose our colors, the look that we wanted, and then made monthly shopping lists. For example, June we will buy all the centerpieces. July we will buy tablecloths, etc. This helped us spread out the cost of the wedding also so we weren't broke right before.

We're eloping in October of 23. I've booked our trip (destination elopement-moon) and photographer so far. I've looked at some dining options but it's too early to book those (not venues, just private dining terraces)

May 2023 here, and I've done quite a bit. Booked our ceremony/reception venue (and locked in 2021 prices!!) our DJ and Photographer. I am discussing flowers, but only one florist wants to talk to me this far out .... which sort of makes me want to choose them just for that reason. Also have the officiant choices, final decision to be made within the next month. I have my dress - being a plus size with a VERY specific style in mind, when I saw it I fell in love and grabbed it. No regrets at all on that one!! I also played around on Magnet Street and did a preview of our invitation. Glad I did, as when I got the (free) print I could see where changes needed to be made font-wise. Ummmmm, I know our colors and ideas for table centerpieces, and got my table "numbers'" - they are sea creatures - done on Etsy, along with the matching escort card stickers. We'll be sewing my attendants (2) dresses, as my sister (who is one of them) is extremely fussy about the kind of dress she will wear, while my other sister-of-my-heart is very forward thinking like I am and will lean to more appropriate (read Fashionable and practical for Florida weather) attire. Best comprise is sewing.

Wow -looking at this just now makes me pretty damn happy LOLOL I know there is more to do, but I like the fact that a good chunk is done and paid for already.

We’re May 2024 . To be honest venue tours and a lot of honest conversations about what we want from a marriage and future together. I also chose my bridal party and we decided what type of wedding we want to have. The venues we want all cater internally and then we have to get a wedding planner per the venues we like so we decided to wait on them to book the final things . Happy planning 😊

August 2023 and I've managed to book a lot of the "big" things like venue/photographer/videographer/florist and decorator. I'm taking a break from booking for the holidays and then I'll be trying to secure an officiant/makeup and hair artist/ band within the new year. A lot of things are booking up fast because of COVID and I want to be able to have my top choices when it comes to vendors.

    Congrats!

Thank you! Yes! I want to get as much secure as possible so that I don't have a stressful engagement! I'd like to enjoy being engaged and not wish for my wedding day to be over with because everything is happening so fast. You know?

March 2023 here! We started with our budget and gueslist to guide our vendor decisions, and just booked our venue a couple weeks ago. We have ordered bridal party gifts and I just made a couple dress appointments. I hope it's not too early but figured I could just have the final fitting closer to the date. I'm working with a wedding planner so we'll start looking at booking the other big vendors (DJ, photographer/videographer, florist) next. Happy planning!

October 14, 2023 here!!! I totally get you that it feels like I’m in an awkward limbo where it’s way too soon to do a lot. So far we’ve just booked our venue. In the meantime, I’m just following vendors and creating pinterest boards. 😎

September 2023 and I've found a venue, florist, photographer/videographer and DJ. We'll be sending the contracts over before Thanksgiving. Since we chose out of state to get married, I figured, the earlier the better. All we have left are cake, attires and invites to take care of.

I'm beyond happy to see all of you already planning for 2023 & 2024, tbh for a second a felt crazy to be planning so early.

    Congrats and happy planning!!!!

We have to be proactive , venues are filling up fast,
We decided on a hotel wedding in our home town (Miami) to avoid having to contact so many different vendors . Congrats to you and your love and planning to you as well ❣️

Don’t feel bad, I’m just as lost too,. Right now my main thing is getting our venue to respond, We chose a hotel wedding which is a bit more care free because they offer packages. These packed include the food , make up, cake , of course the venue , I’m not interested but they have hair stylists and sometimes they provide the music, florist. , they pretty much provide the works . Keep me posted on your progress , We give each other some advice ❣️
