Who do i need to get boutonnières for besides the groomsmen?

Hi ladies!
I am getting married in about a year, we are looking to order things little by little. One thing we’ve been excited for is saving some coin on fresh flowers and using artificial boutonnières made from shotgun shells. I found really cute ones on Etsy that my fiancé and I both love! Here’s the question, who should I purchase them for besides the groomsmen, my FH, and my dad? Should his dad and our ushers have them as well? The last few weddings I’ve been to, some of them didn’t even use boutonnières.

    Technically no one really needs a bout, but if your dad is getting one I would get one for his dad too Smiley smile

    We are giving my FH, groomsman, both dads and our officiant boutonnières. None for the grandparents or the ring beaters and we are not having any ushers. If you get one for your dad, his dad should get one as well.

    We gave a boutonnieres to all the men in the processional. So other than the groomsmen, this covered my brother, my uncle, and my husband's father.

    So I'm on the extreme end, I think. My mom's a floral designer, so flowers are everywhere lol. The groomsmen and groom are getting theirs. Also giving them to the dads, his grandpa (all but one of my grandparents passed), ushers, and the officiant. Obviously their counterparts (mom's, grandma's, etc) all getting flowers as well.


    Anyway, you can do as much or as little as you want

    I'm also on the extreme end. his 4 grandparents, both of our parents (5 total including one step) and contemplating my adoptive brother (not legal but close enough). the key is to be consistent. If you give to the parents, give to all the parents, likewise for grandparents, ushers and other important groups.

    I bought them for FH, groomsmen, my dad, grandpa, usher, ring bearer and officiant. his dad passed away 2 years ago other wise I would have got his dad as well.

    I made my own flowers and included all these people but it is all your personal preference. I would just stay consistent - don't include one dad and not the other, for example.


    Boutonnieres:

    Groom

    Groomsmen

    Ushers (their outfits matched the groomsmen)

    Fathers

    Grandfathers

    Ring Bearer (Didn't have one but would have included him)

    Readers (not necessary)

    Musicians (not necessary)

    Wrist Corsages:

    Mothers

    Pinned Corsages:

    Grandmothers

    Singers (not necessary)

    Bouquets:

    Bride

    Bridesmaids

    Jr. Bridesmaids

    Flower Baskets:

    Flower Girls
