White vs. Ivory.. which to go with?

What color is your dress?

My dress is stark white

I vote white if your dress is white. White and tan look good together.

Def can't mix ivory by the white dress. However I do agree that plain white and burlap kind of don't mix. One is more classy/clean and one is rustic and fun. Maybe a cream color? But not ivory, farther towards cream.

I think ivory makes the burlap look more "rustic" and antique, if that's the look you're going for. I don't see the issue with the color combo.

I had the ivory/white combo, but the other way around lol. My dress was ivory and the table cloths were white, and it all looked great

Ya, there are a range of opinions on the white-ivory dealy lol. But imo it's not that big of a deal..my dress is a light ivory and I opted to not pay for ivory linens. My main thing tho I'm making sure the guys have ivory shirts..anywho unless your wedding gets really wild and you are dancing right on top of the ivory table cloths I doubt anyone will notice lol!

I would say ivory, but if your dress is white, I would try to go with what matches your dress.
