Our original date was April 5. We postponed 2 weeks before and set a new date for July 12 thinking everything would be back to normal by then...
I'm just going to throw out some dates:
June 15 - outdoor dining resumes in NJ
June 22 - salons and barber shops open
June 26 - MY FLORIST NEEDS A DECISION
July 6 - camps and summer recreation programs open
We have to be in phase 3 to even consider moving ahead on July 12 and the July 6 date is the last listed "event" in phase 2 for NJ. I'm afraid we won't know about phase 3 until closer to the 29th of June.
I have a backup plan for an intimate ceremony plus lunch for our immediate families on July 12 should we not have our big(ger) wedding. It was never big to begin with, about 80 invites (about 50 are still coming as of now).
However, the restaurant I've nailed down for the backup ceremony will only hold the date for a week after receiving the info sheet - I plan to send that over Monday. That means by June 15 we have to make a decision: cancel venue with associated vendors and commit to restaurant or....... be confident we can have 50 person celebration because the Governor has set forth a defined plan.
Should I just cancel and move forward with the immediate family version of our wedding at the restaurant????
Will NJ announce anything by June 15th??????
I'm so sick of the unknown.
