Which was the first vendor you booked?

Our DJ. Our engagement is short so we rushed on all our vendors

The venue! I had no idea about a date, colors, style, etc. until we figured out the venue. We're letting that inspire everything else.

First thing that we booked was the venue! Once we put down a deposit, it became real!

First thing was the venue to lock in the date. Second was the ceremony violin and guitar

The first vendor I booked was the venue and went from there. I had my heart set on a specific photographer and was unable to get them as they do not work Thanksgiving Weekend.

I always knew I would be my planner, but my venue had to have a day of coordinator. That was non negotiable for me

I guess technically our first vendor booked was our baker. But that was a no brainer in that my mom and my aunt both make wedding wedding cakes and are amazing at it! (both have won various competitions and featured in magazines throughout New England and NYC, as well as national magazines). So there was never any thought behind who would do our cake. Our first vendors booked would I guess be a toss up between venue and photographer.

Technically I booked the chapel firsr, although I pretty much had my hair and makeup and photographer picked. I wanted to be certain I got the date I wanted at the chapel before I booked anything else.

Our venue, which includes linens, catering, staff, the cake, and a day of coordinator.

Photographer, Dee and Cory Productions. I loved their style and very responsive to all my questions! And they are just great people.

We were lucky to find a vendor in Florida for our beach wedding a week or so after getting engaged. Everything else worked itself out, the photographer comes with the venue. We got our caterer nailed down with our reception venue, a friend will take photos there.

We booked our venue first. I knew that was important before finding anything else.

Chloe Mary photography . This is the vendor we first booked. It was important to me that we booked a photographer that captured little details that makes life 'life'. and because i knew they get booked quickly & are expensive. I found one who captures little details and fits our life style too (i'm quite alternative and hes laid back)

Before that we did booked our date and paid the booking fee to keep our date

None for the wedding yet. The only "vendor" was where he got my engagement ring. Right now i'm pouring over places online, reading reviews, looking at photos, figuring out the cost for places..so when the funds come in the beginning of the year I can get busy
