So before going to the tasting I was thinking we will give our guests two choices: chicken marsala and steak, since most people like at least one of those. I feel like salmon or Mediterranean chicken stuffed with feta and spinach may not appeal to most people. Anyway, the chicken Marsala was not good, but the salmon was awesome. So now my FH want to include the salmon and not sure what else. I thought the steak was better than the chicken Marsala, but not sure if steak and salmon are good enough choices for picky guests. (There is a vegetarian option regardless, except we won't know what it will be till the day of). What do you guys think? What menu options are you giving your guests?

Salmon and steak is perfect. Like someone else said, you really only need a beef and a non-beef.

I personally loooove salmon. Having it for dinner tonight lol. However, unless you are having a third option, I would stick to chicken or steak. Many people are allergic to fish perhaps mostly shellfish, which salmon is NOT lol but still salmon I don't know. Maybe chicken and fish even. But I think it should be chicken and something else

At my cousin's wedding the 3 options were: beef, salmon and a vegetarian option. But then their wedding was on the West Coast, so a seafood dish was kinda expected. But no one complained that there wasn't a chicken option. In fact everyone said all the meals were great-DH had the beef, I had the salmon and my mom and aunt had the vegetarian.

Those are great choices. That's we we had salmon and steak.

I would say about 90% of our guests got the prime rib and mainly women got the salmon. Although for allergy concerns like HC mentioned chicken is a good option. We just didn't do chicken because its usually always overcooked and dry and who wants that lol.

We're doing beef and fish, no chicken.

The stuffed chicken sounds really good to me, and I think more people eat chicken than steak, whereas a lot of fish eaters are not fans of salmon.

@Hot Chocolate, if you're allergic to shellfish, that doesn't mean you're allergic to fish. I was allergic to shellfish (shrimp, scallops, etc.) as a child, but I could always eat fish, and it's like this for everyone. Unless you know a guest is specifically allergic to fish, I wouldn't worry about shellfish allergies.
