Budget definitely. We did do our guest list and had to change our budget again. But we we're lowering our budget.

Guest list. I think! It was easy once we found the venue because they had limited seating so.

Guest list because we still dont have a fully set budget. We know our maximum but based on what we need for the necessary things (aka food and space) we are shifting everything else around - and everytime a parent offers to cover something we drop that item from our budget as soon as they do pay for it and shift that money to something else.

Budget first, although the guest list wouldn't have effected it too much.

Neither of us has a huge family, or a huge group of friends. So we made a preliminary guest list first, then figured out how much that many people would cost. Then started paring down the list to get it to a number we could afford. The preliminary list was pretty much everyone we've ever known in our lives. So, trimming it wasn't that hard. In the end, we ended up with all of our family members, and some close friends and a few co-workers. Came to under 100, so that was perfect for our budget!

Did you two agree on the budget, for the most part?

Both. My parents set the budget and we set the guest list (with their help).

Sorta. I told him that i thought that 12,000 to 24,000 would be a good buget to aim for and he just grumplie said why does it have to be so expensive but he still goes along with it so i think that he's indifferent about it.

The guest list came first. I never really set a budget because I’m super frugal and doubt that I will overspend.

We are still super early in the planning process, but we have pretty much decided that we are going to pay for what has to get paid for to make our wedding a success while trying to remain as budget friendly as possible (fingers crossed we land under 10k)

That's great that you two were able to come to that decision! How many guests will you two be inviting?

We haven't set our guest list in stone yet but my mom( she's In charge of family wrangling) says we will probably invite between 100 and 150( how many actually RSVP is a different story)

We set our budget first, and then started adding names to our guest list on here.
