Which came first: choosing your wedding colors or your bridesmaids' dresses?

I had my colors picked out the day he proposed 😅

Colors for me first. then the bridesmaid dresses

I chose wedding colors first, although they have changed since the beginning. We are still working on finding dresses for my lovely ladies!

I chose my wedding colors first then we found the dresses

For me the color scheme. I haven't even asked my bridesmaids yet, except my MOH but I know what color/colors I am going to have them wear.

Wedding colors based on my dress. I'm wearing a non-traditional floral and my girls will be in solid shades of red to match.

I think this is a crazy question, but of course we choose the colors first

Colors. I lost my mom to leave ng cancer and Ladybugs serve as a symbol of her for my family. We're also Deadpool fans, so red and black just fit for us. We did add an auxiliary color (grey/silver) when I picked the dresses. Our flowers are red and I wanted them to pop. So I picked a silver dress for the girls instead of the original red that I liked.

With out a doubt colors 1st

I built my wedding palette first, and next I'm going to choose my dress, because I don't want to wear white, and then after that I'll choose a color for the bridesmaids dresses.

For me, the colors came first and inspired my bridesmaids' dresses.

Colors.. I knew I wanted Purple from the get go.

Colors! I chose bridesmaids dresses about a month ago.

Since I'm not having any bridesmaids, the colors were an easy choice to make. Sage (green for the Pagan God), Amethyst (purple for the Pagan Goddess), Ivory to blend the two together. Plus my dress is ivory.
