Where was the proposal?

Our proposal was actually in the Bahamas but we did not have a photo! He proposed 2x really he couldn't hide it we were getting prepared to get off the ship ( we were on the royal carribean cruise ship) and he asked me to marry him as we were leaving the room saying he couldn't hold his composure and he was looking like he didn;t feel well and I kept bothering him asking him if he was hung over or if we should just rest in the room for a few more hours. He asked me and got down on 1 knee and gave the whole speech and started crying and gave me the ring. I was crying so much and we were late for the boat departure that we heard the loud speaker announcement so we ran out literally RAN and I had the ring on. We were enjoying the moment from the little boat to one of the islands that I was still in shock. He then did another proposal un rushed on a private section of the beach he rented and proposed again and even though I had my ring he said everything he wanted too again. We never got photos since it was a private part and we only had our own bar and workers and my FH forgot to ask them to take pictures so during our engagement shoot, he had the photographer take one on his knee asking me again just so we can have a photo like that for ourselves :-)

It was the only time I was completely not expecting it on our four-day getaway trip to Mackinaw Island and the U.P. It was our second day on the trip and we had just drove over the bridge to check out a zip-lining course...which, unfortunately, was closed. As we were driving back to our hotel in Mackinaw City, we stopped at the overlook that sits right near the border between the Upper and Lower Peninsula. It was perfect. There was no one there, you had a perfect view of the bridge, and in the early spring, it was one of the limited times where the sun was actually shining. As we sat on a bench, he began to talk about us and the bridging of two lives together, and that's when he got down on one knee and popped the question.

The day after my birthday, him and my mom had thrown me a birthday party. Everyone was there. People from his home town drove into town for it..At least I thought it was for my birthday...I was so surprised. They sang me happy birthday, my mom gave a small speech, then he spoke at the end of his rambling he got down on one knee and asked me. I actually stood there for a minute cause I was in such shock.

The proposal happened on Treasure Island beach in Florida. Right under the fireworks on 4th of July!!!

It was on the Monday afternoon after Thanksgiving 2017. It was here in the living room of our little apartment. He wanted to propose at Christmas but couldn't wait anymore to give me the ring. I love that it was a random day at home. I never saw it coming

We got engaged at the end of the Grinnell Glacier hike in Glacier Nat'l Park, we had just finished almost running back down the trail in a hail storm, everyone was tired, sore, cold and wet. He pulled me to the side while we were waiting for the ferry to come pick us up and told me that he was tired, cold and couldn't bend his knees if he tried, and that he completely forgot what he had planned on saying, and pulled the ring out of his pocket It had completely not gone as planned (except that I said yes!) but was perfectly imperfect

I really was! I had been hoping that he would propose while we were on vacation but it was getting closer to the end of the trip (Thursday and we were leaving to drive home Saturday morning) so I was starting to think it wasn't going to happen and was thinking of how to bring up the "What do we want for the future" talk when we got home lol so he definitely caught me off guard!
