Where to buy non traditional wedding dresses?

I love this. This is what I did. My best advice to you is don't think of things in categories. Think of things as a nice dress you'd want. Like a bridesmaid dress and a bridal dress and a mother of the bride dress and whatever else are just categories.
Some sites I like are Lulu's and azazie. But I even went to the mall and found some nice ones at like Windsor. Basically where ever has a selection of formal dresses. I went off the beaten path and got a forever21 dress. That sounds weird but it was very formal and all the reviews said they used it for their wedding.
I do have some standard advice I give people when they buy online:
1) maybe go shopping in person first to see what you like, that way you already have a better idea of styles. For instance if you know already that mermaid style doesn't work on you because you've tried it then that helps you in your search
2) look at return policies
3) look for coupons

I agree with PP. Don't limit yourself on the category. A couple extra inexpensive accessories can make a simple yet beautiful dress a stunning elegant dress.

I love my gown from Cocomelody. I wanted a black gown and they delivered! They have a lot of bridesmaids dresses that can be easily a wedding dress if made in white or ivory. What about a lace shrug or something if you can’t find what you like?
my gown was $391 total with a coupon code. I first tried china wedding dress from aliexpress so unless you are very careful and order well ahead of avoid this personally.
I had a lot of limits wanting black, lots more options if you want traditional color. If not the sky is the limit for evening gowns etc!

JJ's House has all sorts of beautiful dresses for amazing prices. My friend got her first wedding dress on there for $130. The only reason she didn't wear it was because her mom said no.

I've also seen some gorgeous long sleeved wedding dresses in thirft shops. I'm not doing a traditional dress either partially to save money. You have a lot of options.
