where to buy detachable sleeves?

My dress is similar to the one in the picture w/o the sleeve...and I am trying to find a detachable sleeve that can be added by my seamstress.

Welcome to WW, Michelle! I think if you're looking for either a whole sleeve or a strap, you might be able to find something from an Etsy vendor.

If you want a whole sleeve, why not get something from David's and just use one? Or is the pricing too much for that (I didn't look.) Check out bestbridalprices.com, they are a legitimate site and might have what you're looking for.

Thanks ladies! Yeah I am looking more for the strap than a sleeve..just wasn't sure that was what it was called. the Etsy ones are nice and so is the bestbridalprices.com site. I am just trying to get ideas for the type of strap that I want to get so I can talk to the seamstress with some knowledge. But wasn't sure if I could actually buy them myself and attach. I still have a litle while to go before it would need to be done (wedding is in May) but I am one to research early!

Michelle. Something like that looks pretty simple to create and making it detachable shouldnt be a problem. They would just sew hooks or buttons on it instead of actally sewing it to the dress. Any seamstress should be able to do that.

Michelle, don't wait too long. It will be here before you know it. Don't wait like one stupid bride did and think you have all the time in the world because it is still a few months out, then realize uh oh....I needed to actually use those months..who knew? Obviously, this is totally what I have done lol so I am speaking from experience. Find your seamstress soon and discuss your vision with them. They will probably have some great ideas.
