Where do pictures go at a wedding?

So as you enter the venue, you are going to be greeted by a cute little welcome sign. The left side of that will be a DIY Polaroid photobooth. Of course the photobooth will have tables for the props, signs and instructions, along with our guest book. We are also having a memory table for our families who have passed (so obviously a nice picture of FH and i can’t go there) and then there is card/gift table aside from sweetheart table. If we did do a picture of us, I have NO idea where to even put it. Any ideas and am I missing anything here as far as set up may go - like another table for Unity or something?

    Is there space for an easel by the card table? that's where i put my canvas of our engagement pic

    OR the other idea is you can buy some banners that you can put photos on

    the banners can go on the tables itself like in the front or if the venue lets you put it against the wall or something

    I have no idea where placement for actual stuff is going other than photobooth. Just not sure where to put pics. I can drop a venue pic for you.

    What about on the tables? For each table there can be either a different picture of you both or the same photo on all tables. (This would be the guest tables they are sitting at) would that work? How many are you trying to put up?

    Just like one or two. I am thinking of doing baby photos of ages at table numbers of us both. Also, any ideas on an alter? Is it needed??

    No, alter isn’t needed. I like the idea of the baby photos of the ages at the tables. I think that’s a good idea. Are those the pictures you’re thinking about putting up or additional pictures?

    We didn’t really have any formal pictures of us set up at the reception. My parents did use one of our engagement pictures on a panel on our card box at the gift table, but that was about it. Our table names were places we had been, so some had casual phone pictures of the two of us together if it was somewhere we had both been. Personally I didn’t see the need for there to be many formal pictures of us around the reception. The guests were getting to see us in the flesh after all.

    I know some brides think it’s cheesy to have photos of yourself in tables but that’s what we did. We wanted to share our journey and people loved it! We also had a memory table that highlighted couples who had been married 20 plus years that we placed near our cake table. We gifted those pictures to the couples as favors.

    I like that idea Sloan, but unfortunately I don’t know anyone who has been married that long other than my grandparents (my grandmother is now passed on) but in my memory table I am having her picture along with my FH father and grandparents. Where does the memory tables usually go?

    💙💙 My sister did the same for their wedding. It was a destination wedding & on each table was a picture of them from the location. Which was also the name of the table. Where do pictures go at a wedding? 2

    Of the many weddings we have attended, only one had pictures of the couple anywhere on display and it was part of the guestbook table setup. No one thought it was weird either way.

    Our “photobooth” is guest book. So they are doing poloriod pics. Should I just be set up there?
