Where did you order invitations ?

Yes, everyone should get a physical invitation. Open invite sounds great, but you need people to RSVP so you know how many people will be there. We ordered all in one invitations from Minted. There are some invitation templates with engagement photos included, but they’re definitely more casual styles. I would assume your wedding is on the casual side if you want to do open invite.

We ordered ours from Vistaprint on sale for $110 for 70 matching sets. We sent one invitation to each household.

I think you should send an actual invite to everyone. I got mine from Zazzle but Minted and Vistaprint also have them. Watch for great sales in those sites.

I ordered mine from Ann’s Bridal Bargain and they turned out great!! We put engagement photos on the save the dates, so did just a beautiful standard invite.

Everyone should definitely get a physical invite. We're getting our invites (among other wedding items) from Zazzle. We're not using any photos on our invites. Not even our save the dates which I would have liked to but the way that the design I love is mapped out, it just wouldn't look right to us.

But yes, everyone you are inviting should get an actual invitation. Social media is not a proper way to invite people to a large event such as a wedding. Fine for birthday parties, not for a wedding..

Zazzle was great. Shutterfly & VistaPrint also have frequent sales.
