Where can I find an affordable all-inclusive wedding venue? Budget is 4K and only have 50 guests.

Parker, on October 30, 2013 at 9:47 PM Posted in Planning 0 10

Any suggestion on where I can find a affordable all-inclusive wedding venue in Atlanta? My budget is probably around 4K... which I don't think is too terrible for the size, and I'm definitely willing to go even lower. I'd like to have the ceremony and reception in the same place including the cost of food and maybe a DJ. Willing to find flowers and photography (and even the DJ) on my own. HELP!!! I've been looking since June... close calls, but still no venue. Thank you!

At that budget, I would suggest state parks. Im doing mine at red top and my wedding is going to cost 4 grand with 100 people.. anyways herea my budget list. Dj free. Friend, photographer, 100, decor 600, cakes 200, food about a grand, beer and wine 600 flowers, 200 live. Plates cups ect 235. Preacher free. . Venue.. getting married on the lake and reception indoors 260 a night. We are most likely booking the whole weekend. One to setup, day of, and Sunday to clean up.

Hi Parker there is a bride on here who had a stunning wedding for 5 grand. I think she had considerably less people. Would you be able to cut some of the guests? Let me look for her link. She offered lots of ideas and so many were intrigued by her posts. Let me find it.

Have you looked at The Solarium in Decatur? They are not all-inclusive, but only $1500 for the space etc. There are lots of affordable caterers in the city (I've actually heard that Shane's Rib Shack does fantastic wedding catering- they have all sorts of options, so not just a BBQ joint!) so it might be an option to check out!

I just googled a place called "Bagley House & Gardens". It's in a town called Calhoun, and that came up in the Atlanta area.

It looks very pretty and it sounds all inclusive. With 50 guests, for the ceremony and reception meal, it looks like a basic package is $3600 (which is based on their lowest 3 course dinner @$24/person, but there are appetizer options that bring the cost down or more exotic options that bring it up). Lower your guest list to 40, and you're in another price bracket. It looks like the same basic package would be $2,460 for the site and the reception dinner. This doesn't include alcohol, but they have lots of packages for that. Here's a link: http://thebagleyhouse.com/wedding-packages/

There are other amenities you can add on. You'll see those at the bottom of the packages page. Good luck!

WeddingDestinationItaly: I think you're talking about Sunday Cupcake. She had the beautiful, formal, all white wedding in the park and was thrilled that she kept her budget to $5K. You're right, it looked great. You're also right about the guest list -- very small. I think she said it was twelve people (although you'd never know from looking at the pics. Some of the shot look like a pinterest page).

We are getting married at an Embassy Suites. They don't charge anything for the venue. We are having a brunch reception for 80-100. Its costing us $35 per person. Which will include Champagne and/or Mimosas. The cake is $350 from a fabulous local baker and the DJ is $400 for the entire day. We haven't done the flowers yet, but I'm hoping for less than $800. My best friend is marring us and her hubby is a photographer.
