Where are you getting ready on your wedding day?

Where will you get ready on the morning of your wedding? Is there a place to get dressed at your ceremony venue? Have you booked a hotel? Will you be gathering at a friend or relative's house? Or will you be at your own home? Who will be there getting ready with you? Photo by OLLI STUDIO

We're in the ballroom, but I won't lie, it was a hard choice! This is going to sound really strange but I absolutely loved the smell of the Coach House. The strong smell of wood was amazing! And that silo bar! Ugh. So pretty and unique.

Have you tasted any of the food yet? We are actually going over there tomorrow for dinner to get a little sneak peek of what we can expect for the wedding before our tasting. Everyone I talk to that has eaten there before or attended an event RAVES about the food. I'm so excited!

I booked a king suite hotel room for all the girls to get ready at.

The venue has a bridal suite but its kinda small and cramped.

My FH and I live about a 7-10 minute walk from our venue, so the guys will be getting ready in our condo. We booked the cheapest, smallest room for the two us the night of our wedding at a hotel right down the street from our home. So, my parents were nice enough to book the suite for themselves that weekend and let the ladies get ready there the day of. It will be me, my ladies, my mom and my FMIL.

I paid $250.00 extra for the bridal loft! So worth it!

We had a bridal suite that we could include as part of our package. It was $800, but came with breakfast, lunch, champagne, teas, coffees, water and personal servers to wait on us during the day. It had salon-style chairs for getting ready in with lots of natural light and a private patio.

I am getting ready at my dad and step moms. I have hair and make up coming to the house for my mom, step mom, sister, cousin, maid, matron and one bridesmaid. Not sure what FMIL and FSIL's are doing yet but the one FSIL is a hair stylist and doing there hair. Groomsmen are getting ready at hotel. We are planning to have a mini brunch while getting ready. I will be up bright and early as my one BM is doing my hair then has to go get hers done

Looking back, this is one of the things I wish I had done differently. I just got ready at my house. It wasn't fun or relaxing.

Yes! We went there for an engagement dinner with my mom after we booked it and absolutely loved it. It's a beautiful venue and the ballroom is just lovely!! We had to go with the coach house because we didn't have enough people for the minimum.

It's so fun hearing all the different options everyone chose! I got ready at my parents' house. It was close to my ceremony venue, my parents have a fancy looking bathroom that made for nice pics, and it was really sentimental for me to get ready in my childhood bedroom. Plus I got to take getting ready pictures with my cat, hehe!

Thinking about getting an airbnb rental near the venue. Have all of us stay the night together before, get up, have breakfast and start hair and make up. Just move over to venue to actually get dressed.

I think when people hear "wedding" they only see dollar signs. Funerals and weddings are emotional events and are often price hiked.

Our venue has a bridal suite that comes with fruit and mimosas. I'll also get some other things to nibble on. I still haven't decided if I want to do hair and makeup there or have it done in salon.

We are going to a salon for hair and makeup then likely getting dressed at a hotel (where we plan to spend the wedding night)...there is a "bridal suite" at our reception venue but it's not that great. The ceremony is at a park about 5 minutes from the reception site.

Our venue offers a bungalow to use, but only for 2 hours prior. So, we decided to rent the bungalow for the full day. I'll be there along with my mom, the girls, and FMIL. FH and the guys will all be at our house.

I think we're going to rent out an Airbnb and sleep there the night before (we're having an evening wedding) then head to our bridal suite at our venue and get actually prepared there. My bachelorette party is the night before so I'm sure we'll need a good place to crash. I'm getting ready with my bridal party and I'm going to invite my mom and God-mom to get ready there as well.
