Where are you getting ready on your wedding day?

Where will you get ready on the morning of your wedding? Is there a place to get dressed at your ceremony venue? Have you booked a hotel? Will you be gathering at a friend or relative's house? Or will you be at your own home? Who will be there getting ready with you? Photo by OLLI STUDIO

We got ready at my MIL's condo, about a 15 min drive from our venue. it has a ton of windows so the lighting was fabulous for our HMUA to work her magic. it was me, the women on my side of the WP, my brothers, my parents, and MIL/step-FIL all hanging out, and it was such a lovely and chilled out morning!

We rented a huge house on Airbnb for us and the bridal party to get ready in! FH and his groomsmen will hangout in another part of the house while I'm in the master with my girls! Can't wait!!

I'm starting to get ready in my hotel suite. Hair appointments for myself and my bridesmaids will start around 8AM with my friend doing make-up coming around that same time. Around 12, I'll be making my way to the venue to make sure my flowers are delivered by 1230 and then will finish getting ready in the bridal suite there (finishing touches on makeup and putting on my dress), as my photographer will be arriving at 1 PM and we'll get some "getting ready" photos in there before our first look! My five bridesmaids will be getting ready with me, as will my mom. I'm sure my brothers and my one other bridesman will pop in every now and then, but it will mostly be me and the ladies. Not sure if my FMIL will be there, yet!

We’re getting married at a resort, so the girls will be getting ready in our suite and the guys will likely get ready in FIL’s suite.

I booked the biggest suite at our hotel for both Friday night and Saturday night. I offered for my MOH and bridesmen to stay with me on Friday night (it’s an out of town wedding), and then we will all wake up, eat breakfast and get ready together. Then Saturday night obv will be the wedding night so just me and FH. I am having my hair done first and I will have to go to the salon for that. My makeup artist comes after to the hotel suite to do my makeup. My FH is getting ready with his party at his parents lake house and then he also has access to get ready in the church if he wants to. Our reception/ hotel is across the street from the church

The hotel. We have a few areas that can be a bridal suite, but it's just easier than hauling all our stuff

I’m already forseeing chaos with ours. We’re travelling to Key West for ours, and renting a three bedroom, three bath house for seven of us (our children and ourselves, and my bff). We will ALL be getting ready there, and need to be at the ceremony site by 10am. On the up side, none of my girls wanted hair and make up, so I’ll be the only one getting it. She’s coming at 745, so I’ll be first up to get showered and shined. I’m anticipating a LOT of “MOOOOOOOM! I can’t find my _____!!!!” and will have an ample supply of mimosas at the ready. For me, that is Smiley winking

My venue has this beautiful space upstairs from its reception. I was really excited about it until I realized it came with an extra price tag. I wasn't willing to spend an extra couple hundred dollars on a space I'd use for 2 hours.

I ended up booking a hotel literally a 30 second walk from my ceremony site, so I am getting ready there. The rooms are lovely! The girls and I might be a bit cramped in the bathroom, but we are wearing minimal or no makeup at all, so I don't think we will have any problems. We could always use our own rooms if we needed to. I'm pretty excited!

My bridesmaids and I will be getting ready at my parents' house. It's about a 20-minute drive from our venue. A few of us are going to a salon to get our hair done, and then makeup at the house. At least that's the plan.

Our venue has a bridal suite, and a room that the groomsmen can use too - both throughout the whole day - but we are using our time there before the ceremony for photos, not for getting ready.

I think FH and his guys will get ready at his dad's house. Our house is pretty small. His dad also lives about 20 minutes from the venue, in the opposite direction of my parents.

We are having our ceremony and reception at a historic hotel, we booked 2 rooms for the night before and the night of the wedding. I will be getting ready with my MOH and BM and my mom and FMIL will likely be stopping by at some point as well. FH will be getting ready with his BM, and 2 GM, and his dad will be stopping by his room at some point.

I am getting ready at my parent's house, not too far away from the church - we are having a church ceremony at 2PM. We will be getting our hair done at a nearby salon that morning and a makeup artist come to my parent's house to do our makeup. I figured it would be the most comfortable for everyone plus its free Smiley smile

Mine has a suite but I won't have access to it until 12:30. I'm worried that won't give me enough time to get ready and do pictures before a 3:30 ceremony. Not having a BP but planning on 1 mom, FH's 2 daughters, 2 flower girls, and maybe one more to get ready with me. Was thinking about paying for hair or makeup for them but not sure how long all that will take, if I might need to start at a hotel or something.
