When you know they love you....

Such a sweet idea for a forum!

The locking of the door is also one for me! FH makes my lunch for the following day before he goes to bed. Surprising me when he knows I've had a tough week or day, even if it's just bringing chicken nuggets home and skipping the gym for the day.

Mine does this too! He also double checks the locks every night before we go to bed so I don’t have to get up and do it (because it never fails we forget until we are already in bed LOL)


He also takes the dog out before he goes to work so I can sleep in, and he always gets a pot of coffee “on deck” for me (our term for grinding the beans, filling up the water and filling the filter with grounds so the next person only has to hit start whenever they wake up).

I have a water bottle I keep on my nightstand and FH always fills it with ice and water before we go to bed I picked up a second job recently and sometimes don't get home until 10:30/11p and it's always waiting for me.

Love this! My fiancé does this too!

One of my favorites is that he always makes my lunch for me. He gets home from work at 7AM and I'm usually about to leave for work around that time. The very first thing he does after walking in the door is give me a kiss and say "Whatcha thinking for lunch?". If he's late getting home, he Venmo's me and says "Lunch on me". It's the smallest, sweetest gesture.

I make breakfast every morning for him. I love cooking and I especially love cooking for him because he is such a bad cook LOL! He get so excited when I bring him his breakfast!

My fiancé does this, too!

He works Saturday's and I'm off, so on his way home he usually stops and gets us coffee and if he needs gas or has to stop at the store, he always gets me a little treat. It's the little things for sure

Two nights ago I fell asleep on the couch watching, and around 3am I woke up from a terrifying nightmare (that later I realized directly correlated to the episode that was playing while I was sleeping), and I was too scared to get up in the dark and walk to the bedroom. So I called my fiancé‘s cell phone and made him get out of bed so he could escort me from the living room back to the bedroom. And I even made him wait outside the bathroom door so I could pee before going back to sleep 😂😂

One thing that I love more than anything is that my fiancé lets me sleep in on our days off and brings me breakfast in bed, also when its been a long day and I don’t feel like making dinner he offers to either cook dinner himself or to do it together as a team. In general he is the most thoughtful man I know. Everytime he does anything even if its really small, like washing the dishes after I cook, it reminds me how much he loves me.

Just this morning, he went across the street and got us breakfast sandwiches lol. I feel like there isn't just 1 thing he does consistently. It's that he'll always do little things, like get me water if we're both sitting on the couch and I ask, taking over more than his share of the housework when I'm swamped with work (in a doctorate program, and there are certain points in the semester I am just at my wits end), and so on. That's 1 thing I love about our relationship: we both try to do little things for each other every day.

Just this morning he bought me coffee while he was out without me asking. I also love when he pours me a glass of wine as soon as I log out of work when he knows I had a bad day.
