When to take engagement photos?

How long should did you wait after you were engaged to take your engagement photos? FH and I have been engaged since October 24th and still haven’t taken ours. Are we waiting too long? Our wedding is October 2021

    Anytime before youre married is fine lol, we got engaged in December 2017 and photos done in July 2018

    Yeah anytime. We got engaged aug 2019, and took ours in dec.

    We got engaged April 2018 and took our engagement photos 8 months later in December 2018. We used the photos in our STD which we sent out 2 months later in February 2019 (the wedding was August 2019).

    We got engaged in September... of 2018. And we're planning to take them next month. Just so long as you have them in time for STDs (assuming you plan on using them for STDs), you're fine!

    We’re on a similar timeline - engaged early October, wedding September 2021! We’re locking down our photographer this month & plan to do our engagement photos sometime this summer, so that we can have the pictures back in time to order STDs around Black Friday!

    We got engaged August 2018 and didn't get our engagement photos done until November 2019. Any time while you're engaged is fine. Smiley smile
