When To Send Save the Dates + Invites

Our wedding is in July of ‘21. FH is from North FL-South GA so his folks will be traveling for our day! When would be a suitable time to send out our save the dates/invites for them to have ample time to finalize travel arrangements?

Save the Dates usually go out 6-12 months before the wedding date. If you have a lot of people traveling, I'd send them out closer to 12 months! Invitations go out 6-8 weeks beforehand.

We sent save the dates out 10 months in advance with 2 hotel blocks set up and our wedding website done, we included a small insert card with our main block too since we had over 100 out of state guests. Our invites went out 3 months in advance.
