When to send out invitations?

@Tanesh, if you ask people to RSVP more than a month out, and then they find they can't take the day off, or the finances aren't there to make it, or otherwise aren't able to make it, you can end up paying for more people than what will actually be there.

You should be budgeting for EVERY guest to show up and when you get decilnes, cha-ching! more money in your pocket. If you have a general idea of what you'll have 6 weeks out, great, but I tend to believe that counts given further out from the wedding date tend to be more inaccurate because there's too much time for crap to hit the fan.

Do whatever you're gonna do, not my wedding, not my problem, but I do want to at least warn anyone reading this that it's kind of a risk to take to give a final count with too much time before the wedding.

@JustReenki, my original plan was to send them out in December and I started to explain that again but didnt. I posted about that like a month ago, but we are planning on confirming with people again in December. I know its tedious but because of what happened, we have to. We have A LOT done. In fact, I should be chilling in December so its just what has happens. But thanks! I really wish I could re-do the first month of my planning...... all in all, I say do what you need to do. To each its own wedding!
