Our wedding is in 5 months, so we decided not to send save the date cards. We’re sending the invitation cards and was wondering when do we send them out?

8-12 weeks is standard. Too early and you will have RSVP problems.

Has the date been shared by word of mouth? Is this wedding local for most guests? If local, 8 weeks is sufficient. If destination 8-12 weeks.

Tell your mom, aunts, gabby family females the date and it will spread like wildfire.

No, only my fiancé’s mom and our witnesses know. our wedding is at a wedding chapel in December and we’re only inviting 20 people which is our parents, siblings and nieces
