When to send August wedding invites?

6-8 weeks before the wedding

Our wedding is July 24th and I sent out our invitations out on Monday this week! The reason I decided to send ours out a little early is so that all of our guests can have enough notice and time to plan with everything going on!

I had to move mine June wedding to August to! I am planning on sending mine by June 1st!

We postponed our April wedding to August and we sent ours out this week! It’s more of like a “change the date” and invite all in one. Cheaper and easier!

My wedding is Aug 15 too! I plan on sending mine out in June....really

Oops, didn’t mean to hit send... my wedding is Aug 15 too! I plan on sending mine out in June sometime... really hoping and praying Coronavirus doesn’t affect August weddings *fingers crossed* I’m so nervous.

Mine Is In October And Will Being Sending Invites Out Sometime In June, With RSVP Deadline August 1st.

Lau’ren, sorry to hear your wedding got postponed. My wedding is planned for August 15 too. Since our wedding is on the smaller side and only close family and friends, were going to wait until July 1 to send invites.

You're generally supposed to give people 2-4 weeks to RSVP, so if your RSVP date is July 31, any time during the first week of July should probably be good.

Mine is August 1 and I am planning on sending mine in about 2ish weeks. We didn't do STD. We also need our numbers to the caterer by July 1, so I need them back earlier than most!

Our wedding is also August 15th. I was planning on sending the invites out the end of May/beginning of June with a July 1st RSVP thinking some are going to come after that or I will have to chase them down. This way I still have a couple weeks until I have to have a final count to the reception venue. Hope everything is able to go as planned!
