When to buy wedding bands?

We picked ours out shortly after he proposed

I think we picked ours around the 6 month mark. Just picked them up yesterday!

We picked ours out late, around the 2 months out mark. That was cutting it close for me.

Mine wont come till right before the wedding if FH hasnt ordered it already😅 i got his about a month into our verbal engagement (he proposed about 1 1/2 months later) with only 5 months total its been a "buy what we can when we can" type deal

My DH bought my band with the e-ring. We bought his band a few weeks before the wedding.

Daughter and FSIL bought theirs on Black Friday -- which for you would be about 5 months in advance. They had shopped and knew what they wanted, but with BF sales and a coupon they had from the purchase of her engagement ring in June, they figured it was the lowest prices they'd likely see for the rings they wanted.

I bought my band last year during a black friday sale (got it for $50 instead of its normal $175). My FH bought his last month.

We ordered ours at the 9 month mark. We got them from James Allen and they had a sale last November so we got them then since we knew what we wanted.

We plan to get our soon! We’re at the 3 month mark

FH works for an estate jeweler so we’re getting them next month (our weddding is in October)

We planned to buy our wedding bands as each others' Christmas gifts for our late June wedding, but we didn't really get around to it until about 3 months before the wedding.

We get married in three months and just ordered ours. The sales lady said purchasing them by the 3 month mark is ideal. My FH was indecisive, so we've been looking for 4+ months.

We bought ours about six months before the wedding. I needed to be on a payment plan, lol!

We got ours this past week (summer 2020 wedding but engaged for 1.5 years) because my sister works at a jeweler and is looking to advance her career elsewhere, but she sold FH my e-ring and we wanted to buy from her

We picked ours out very quickly, about 2 weeks after he proposed. I just had his delivered this past week and mine is still being made (it's a custom ring). They don't match, but they're very much "us". It was really easy. But I think you can keep looking up to a few months before. Especially if you're able to buy them at a store (like Jareds or Zales). They may have your ring and ring size in stock, so you buy it and take it home that day.

We are 8 months out right now & last month we went to LOOK and ended up buying me one. ( funny how that happens ) He doesn't want anything fancy at all so we are just gonna hold off for a couple more months for his.
