When should we buy our wedding bands?

Not too soon, you can really get them whenever you want. I think I found mine after just a few shopping trips but it took H FOREVER to find his ring. We thought we would have to buy him a stunt ring for the wedding and then keep shopping for the real thing but he found something.

I don't think so! We've already bought ours and we are a month behind you. That's one less thing to worry about. Mine was easy--it matched my e-ring but FH took a little longer. Funny story--our jeweler accidentally mixed up his ring with someone else's. Now, it was fine b/c we have nothing but time. But that wouldn't have been funny if we were super close to the wedding date.

I just ordered mine last weed and FH has already been looking for what he likes.

Not at all. We went after work last night to a jeweler with a huge selection. After being there for over 2 hours, we could not find anything we both liked. MyLo hates shopping, so we are not going to go again for another 2 weeks.

I would speak with him and let him know if you can check this off the list early, you can take your time and get what you want at a great price.

Not at all. Our bands were custom made, one of the reasons being that H wears a large size.Unless you're super easy, it could take time.

Do you have a general idea of what you're looking for?

I plan to start looking when he moves to tx which will be the end of September hopefully so it'll be around 10-11 months before the wedding

Our wedding isn't until next year. We bought ours last month. Went to the same jewelry store where FH has bought all my jewelry we were in and out of the store within 20 minutes with our bands!

Omgosh Meghan same here...my fh n I just talked about it. And yep I had a bridezilla moment. But I'm stressing out. So bad right now.

Never too early. We had FW's rings 6mos or so in advance. We bought mine about a month ago..for a November wedding that's 99 days away!! I'm in double digits lol...

Just bought my FH today. Mine was purchased with E-ring. We had to special order his size so keep that in mind. I think now is a great time for your Oct wedding.

Paid $190 for 2 gold bands (one for me and one for FH) from Sears. Purchased it a couple of weeks after we got engaged from Sears (actually from k-mart but sold through sears!?!?)
