When is the best time to book Wedding photographer

Wedding photographers can book a year or more in advance, so my opinion is always the sooner the better! Now would be a good time for you to start researching photographers you'd be interested in and arranging meetings with them in the next couple months or so depending on how in demand they are.

I would definitely book as soon as you can. Photographers book up super quickly and also their pricing may go up next year, so lock in their lower price now.

Im not getting married until 2021 but am planning on booking a photographer soon, i talked to a few at a recent bridal show and they told me if i put a deposit down now, the price will be locked in. So when their prices go up next year, i wont have to pay that, so i think its a good way to save some money!

My wedding is November of next year and I just booked mine last week. I suppose you have some time, but I'm so paranoid the people I want will get booked up, so I tried to book everyone asap! Also I'm a procrastinator, so I know if I don't do certain things now, they may not get done in a timely matter and cause me even more stress haha.

I booked mine two years out. Many photographers are currently fully booked for 2020, so it's definitely not too early to reach out for a 2021 wedding!

We have the same date! I booked my photographer immediately after booking the venue - she was the one I wanted and knew I didn’t have any time to spare. I’ve also booked my ceremony/cocktail hour music as well as our getting ready/wedding night accommodations. I feel like I’ve checked off some major things really early on and now can actually relax for a bit.
