When do wedding dresses come in?

What did the store tell you when you bought it? The time it takes dresses to come in varies, they should have had a good idea at the time you purchased & should have told you.
That said, my bridal shop told me they sometimes put an earlier wedding date on file to get it in sooner (I purchased in my hometown and will only be going back about 2-3 months before the wedding for a fitting and my shower). Makes me think that some designers will put you lower on the list if your date is further out.

My bridal shop told me that same thing as previous poster about if the wedding is further out it may take longer to get in. But production times have been delayed lately for dresses due to the coronvirus outbreak in China as well.

Don't panic, my dress took over 7 months, 6 to 9 months is normal, I'm sure your super excited to get it! Do you have a picture? I love showing my dress, so here it is!

Maybe give your bridal shop a call and see if they have any updates on the dress?

View Quoted Comment Do you need many alterations? are they being done where you bought the dress? If not you should talk to your seamstress to remind her of your wedding date so she ready for the dress when it comes.

I called the shop. My dress is on its way. Am i crazy for thinking about this coronavirus and inquiring about my dress.

I ordered my Maggie Sottero early August and it came in February...I was told that it usually takes 6-8 months and that China usually takes the month of January off. I would assume your dress will be in within the next couple of months

My dress is a Maggie Sottero / Rebecca Ingram and I ordered it mid-November. I got a call last week that it was in. It wasn't supposed to be here until April.
