When did you start wearing your “wedding” Ring?

Hello again everyone!
So my fiancé and I recently went back to our jewelry shop to pick up our Engagement rings since they needed to be re-sized, and I absolutely fell in love with this particular ring while we were browsing, waiting for the associate to return with our rings.
I didn’t plan on looking for a Wedding ring until maybe 6 months to 1 year before our actual Wedding, but this ring called to me, and my fiancé adores it too.We purchased it, of course.. Now my question is, when did everyone start wearing their Wedding rings? I don’t want to just leave it in a box for 2 years until our Wedding, but is it too early right now to wear it now? We’re not a traditional couple, and our Wedding certainly isn’t going to be traditional either. I’m more-so just curious how other perspectives are/were too. 😋

Most people start wearing their wedding ring after their wedding. However, if you’re doing things untraditionally, why not wear it now?

Traditionally people wear it after the wedding, as it's your wedding band. A friend of mine started wearing hers because she was paranoid someone would break into her house and steal it (or she just really wanted to wear it). It's up to you honestly, but the idea is for it to be worn after the wedding.

I’ve had mine for a few months now, but it sits in the safe. Once a month I’ll just peek in the jewelry box and try it on with my ER. We aren’t traditional either, but FH wants to have a perfect wedding so we can’t wear them until after the ceremony.

I didn't start wearing mine until the wedding day. We aren't super traditional, but I felt like it would lose some of it's symbolism if I wore it before we were married.

My wedding bands have been in box on my vanity for almost two years. I wont wear it until he places it on my finger during our ceremony. We march to the beat of our own drum but this is one tradition I don't want to change.
