When did you get your RSVPs?

People are probably waiting until closer to the deadline to be able to give a more accurate response.

We got rsvps back quickly from close family and such, but most didn't really start flowing in until 2 weeks before our deadline and then up to it.

We got a bunch at the begining, then a low where we got none, then some more trickled in and continued to slowly past the due date.

We sent our invites out on Friday and got our first RSVPs on Sunday (online RSVP). So far 12 out of 90 responses. I would assume mailing RSVPs would take a lot longer, because of snail mail and procrastination. Whenever I need to mail something it usually takes me three days to actually remember to put it in the mailbox.

May I actually put a paper with the wedding website on there so people can online RSVP too...none there yet.

Mine were super slow... we got a bunch in around the RSVP deadline and then some trickled in after but I would say, I had to chase majority of them down (even family!). Just be patient and if you're still missing RSVPs a week after the deadline, start calling.

I sent mine out a week ago Monday, and I have around 50 (25 rsvp) back. I received my 1st one the day after

We received about 1/3 immediately (with a few in the middle), 1/3 right before/right after the deadline, and never received 1/3. I started calling/texting/emailing a couple days after they were due (in case people mailed them on the RSVP due date, which a few did). I received one RSVP the day before the wedding (postdated much earlier, USPS was at fault there). Good thing I already reached out to that person and knew they were coming.

Ours were actually really consistent the whole time... and we got them all back by the due date. I think we were just lucky...

There were like 70 people that missed the deadline (out of 300). I made a LOT of phone calls and sent a LOT of emails. People are so rude!

Hey wedding twin! Mine deadline is tomorrow and I've gotten about 30%. If they don't have the class to RSVP on time, I am considering a mass reminder email. Punks! Saltines, tap water, and lawn chairs for the lot of them!

We have had them arriving daily since posting the invitations, but you have a while to go on your rsvp date so that will slow them down i think. i know with my engagement i gave them longer to reply and people seem to wait till the date, frustrating for you

I sent my invitations out at the beginning of August. My RSVP date is the 31st.

We've gotten back about 15. None of FH's family have sent theirs back yet. I was like "GET ON THEM! I paid for postage!" lol.

Still waiting on about 60 more. Only got one back this week.

I have a feeling I'm going to have a lot of non-rsvpers and I'm going to have to track people down.

I really hope people are on the ball for mine......we're inviting 280 people, so I have a feeling I'm going to have to bug some people to send them back! My RSVP date is September 10th.

Almost every day, high of 5 , couple of zero days. Today we r missing 33 and got 0, yesterday was the date

I sent out 83 1 week ago, received 1 on Tuesday, 2 on Wednesday, 3 yesterday, and 3 today...we'll see how they continue to come in next week!

People will wait until the last minute to return them. If I had that long, I probably would just because I'd set it down to do it within the next few days, and it would slip my mind.

@Almost Mrs G: How many invites did you send out?

I sent mine out last Friday and got the first RSVPs Monday. Since Monday I've gotten between 2-5 per day. Right now I have 15/48 back and my RSVP date is Sept 20th.

I know a few people might be waiting to see what their schedules are, but if people don't get them to me by the RSVP date, I'll have to start calling. I have to pay 1/2 of the total bill for the caterer a few weeks before the wedding, so I need to have a full count.
