April and October are my favorite months for Spring and Fall. And 17 is my favorite/lucky number. November 17th is also the date we had started dating, which made 17 even more special for us to get married. But I also didn't pick October as our wedding simply because I didn't want our wedding to be closer to Christmas and cost us a lot more that time of year.

October has always had a pretty significant meaning to me and my fiancé. We exchanged “I love you’s”, our engagement, and now our wedding. October has also always been our favorite, for carving pumpkins, fall colors, decor, etc. So October (the 12th) felt like the perfect time to plan our big day!

Date twin!!!! We wanted ours on our dating anniversary, September 24th, but that was in the middle of the week. So we decided to do it the weekend before so we could be on our honeymoon on our 5 year anniversary!

We are getting married on 7/2/20. It was the first date that made sense so that we can allow our family and friends extended time/ weekend, especially those out of town. As well as get the weekday rate

Were getting married on May 31st this year. We had always planned to get married in the end of october so it would fall around our dating anniversary. But FH proposed january 2018....so october would have either been 10 months away or a year and 10 months soo we didn't want to do it too quickly and we didn't want to wait so long so we decided for the spring instead. I origionally wanted my parents anniversary once we made that change. My mom passed away a few years ago so I thought it would be nice to have the same date as my parents..... May 1st is their anniversary but it didn't fall on a weekend. Soo May 31st was a friday. So my parents is the first day of May and ours will be the last. Its a stretch I know but I still think it makes me feel kind of connected to my mom

Our wedding date is May 25, 2019. 25 is my favorite number. Nothing too significant, it was about one year after the proposal.

It is a very special date as this will be the 5 year anniversary of our first date, which was a twelve hour date Smiley love . After my recovery from major heart surgery this last summer and much love and care from Heather, I couldn't wait to make her feel as special, so I proposed on September 30, 2018 and we both couldn't wait to start planning for our big day. Every venue we looked at was available and the banquet center had discounts as April is not a peak time here in Michigan.

While taking a walk-through the chapel we chose for our ceremony, I took photos and captured some video. I then made a preview video and post it so my bride to be could visualize and lose herself in the excitement leading up to our day.

We have recently decided that we wanted to get married in Hawaii so we pushed it back from November 2019 to April 2021 and I seriously want to cry but I know in the long run, it'll all be worth it in the end!
