What's your wedding color(s) story?

The Bride, on June 14, 2019 at 8:06 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 41
It's pride month and I'm thinking colorfully so let's talk wedding colors.

My wedding colors were navy blue and lavender.
Navy blue represented my husband's deceased father and lavender represented my deceased mother.
Silver was our honorary color that we used for all accessories as well as the mother of the groom's dress.

I told my husband any combo of jewel tones would be fine. So he goes “you’re going to think this is really stupid” and shows me a picture of this hockey jersey.... and our colors were chosen. The purple is one of his favorite colors and the teal is mine so it worked perfectly. We predominantly did purple and silver with teal accents as teal is hard to find and match.

Navy blue and charcoal grey with sunflowers, baby’s breath, and greenery adding pops of color. We’re also using a lot of wood in our decor.

There were two ways I could plan wedding colors. One was super colorful and bridesmaids all in different colors, or a gothic looking wedding. So I opted for colorful. And black and silver can still be used plentifully.

My colors are a "play" off of my parent's wedding colors. I wanted to play homage to them in some way. Their colors were peach and silver. My colors are rose gold and silver, with touches of marble and burgundy.

Navy, burgundy, and rose gold. Navy is his favorite color, burgundy is mine, and our rings are rose gold so we're accenting with that.

This is what my venue looks like for the reception area. I fell in love as soon as I saw those wooden beams. 😍

Our colors are black, ivory, burgundy, muted blush, and champagne. I’m wearing an ivory gown and she’s wearing a black gown! We are getting married in October so the burgundy will give us the moody look we’re after balanced with the neutrals of mutes blush and champagne 😍
