It's pride month and I'm thinking colorfully so let's talk wedding colors.

My wedding colors were navy blue and lavender.
Navy blue represented my husband's deceased father and lavender represented my deceased mother.
Silver was our honorary color that we used for all accessories as well as the mother of the groom's dress.

What's your wedding color(s) story?

Smiley love This sounds absolutely beautiful! Will you have bridesmaids and groomsmen? If so, what color(s) will they be wearing?

Blue is our favorite color and I loved the colors of peacock feathers and the beautiful blue. So it was as easy as that blue with peacock colors with small pops of hot pink.

Not really much of a story behind them but we have various shades of muted pink and purple. Think dusty/vintage tones of rose, mauve, wisteria.

My fiancée and I are doing a military wedding. He’s in the army and getting married in his uniform. I knew I wanted navy since his uniform is navy mostly. So we are going with red, white, and blue. (Or well burgundy, white, and navy with gold accents.)

Thank you!! We are so excited! We are having all women up at the altar with us! We each have 2 sisters that will be wearing burgundy, our officiant will be wearing black and white, and our flower girls will be wearing muted blush!

It's so lovely that your colours have such a meaning behind them! We're thinking just blue, yellow and white-- we chose our flowers first, which means we've got a colour palette ready laid out for us! It's also going to be an outdoor autumn wedding, so brights and pastels will be an amazing contrast with the colours of the surrounding nature.

FH is retired military with 21 year of service. So I decided to honor him with our wedding colors. Army is represented by black and gold. So are wedding colors are black/gold with ivory as an accent color.

My fiance requested purple be used because he loves it. I haven't seen it used a lot so I said absolutely.
I also decided to have a floral theme and purple flowers are easy to find!
We're doing lavender and plum with silver accents.
