Brandi p- chasing cars has always been our song too and I thought the same thing. It is too fast to slow dance to and so we will probably just have it played during dinnerSmiley smile

I am so stuck here. LOL. I have been trying to figure out my music for 4 months. I've got 64 days left and I still just don't know. LOL. There are several that I've listened to that he has listened to that we both really like and he keeps telling me to pick that its my choice that he likes them all. So it makes me want to scream.

I'll Wait for you, Joe Nicholas (this song makes me cry, really hard tho)

Can't take my eyes off you, Lady A

    Free, Zac Brown Band

    I'd come for you, Nickelback

    Fall for you, Secondhand Serenade.

Good Enough, Evanscense (which is one of our songs)

Do I, Luke Bryan (but it's kind of sad, but he really likes it.)

    so...

the list actually goes on, we may have to do what we did to decide on invitations... write the names on paper, draw them out to eliminate them and the last one left is the one. LOL. Seriously, that is how we had to doinvites because I literally LOVED HUNDREDS LOL and wanted about 40, so of the 40 I told him to delete the ones he didnt like

And then there were 25 left. LOL. So I deleted some that I didn't think we're appropriate for our setting, we had 15 left. So then we wrote the names down, drawed them out one by one to eliminate and the last was the one I ordered. LOL.

Our first song is much older than we both are: And I Love You So by Don McLean. (You know, the guy who sang American Pie!) It's our song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCM7wx6wZUo&feature=related

We are doing The Luckiest by Ben Folds. FS was a big Ben Folds fan when we started dating, he has grown out of it now to more Rustic Overtones.

He used to sing "The Luckiest" to me all the time. He was hesitant about using it because it is sappy but I convinced him that it really is gonna be the only sappy song in the whole wedding and the fist dance it supposed to be sappy

We will be dancing to Lucky by Jason Maraz and Colbie Caillet. FS and I never had "our song" but when we were going threw songs it was between Lucky and Keeper of the Stars, and a few other songs. Something about lucky I loved and just had that in my top 2 for the whole planning process.

Okay, I went back to check it all of the posts to see if anyone else had said they'd like to use this song, and didn't see it.

I have a suggestion for anyone who is still deciding on a first song: Making Memories of Us by Keith Urban. FH was adamant that we dance to "our song" first. This song way my vote and I think it's one of the best love songs I've ever heard. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtlaUVEmUOk

Also, I LOVE THE NOTEBOOK and may need to watch it today, after watching the first video. :o) I've read the book version of the story, and wanted to tell those of you who didn't know, that the book and movie end differently. The book that follows The Notebook is called The Wedding . . . it's amazing and I strongly suggest giving it a read!

Hmmm now you got me intrigued about Lady Antebellum. I know one of their songs, but it's about breakup and suffering. lol Need to check out the ones you guys mentioned.

@Kali- I think that might be what we decide to do too on the song, it's going to be hard as we are both not decisive people. You should see us trying to pick a restaurant. LOL

I'm torn on this one... if anyone has any advice, please share!

I either want my dad to play on the guitar & sing "Blackbird" - Beatles, but I know everyone will cry and I want it to be more lighthearted... or I want Wanna Grow Old With You - Adam Sandler so my FS doesn't have to dance for too long (plus we have a movie theme going on) or Lucky by Mraz because I like it....

    Help!
