I really want to do 2pm because we are leaning towards a early reception ( 4-830 park bbq) and later party the night away with each other and few friends. We have a lot of guest who are from church and older and I don't see them staying much longer after dinner. Anyways what made a lot you choose...

Religious reasons, budget, venue availability or it just works out for you?

Ours is at 4pm because its on a Sunday and that way people who want to party all night with us can but if there are people who want to head home after dinner and a little dancing, the official reception will be over by 10pm.

Our wedding will be at 1 pm, but we have not set a timeline for the rest of the event yet.

Ours was at 6pm because that is when our venue starts evening weddings and we wanted an evening wedding.

5pm start time. Getting married on a farm & the sun is going to set around 6:30. We will take photos during cocktail hour and will have just enough light & going into sunset for lots of photos.
