What's the worst wedding you've been to/worse wedding experience you've had?

I love hearing stories about bad wedding experiences. They make for good laughs... sometimes...

This should be titled what not to do at a wedding! I sure hope I don't end up on this form next year!

Not been to too many weddings, but I was a bridesmaid in one of my college friend’s New Years Eve wedding. I was home for the Holidays in my home state and had to travel out of my home state and miss out on a whole week with my family (and my nephew who was 6 months at the time and had not met him before then)...the bride had planned the wedding to go until past 12 o’clock to ring in the New Year...but they ended up leaving at around 10pm and I was staying at her family’s place and had to wait around until everything got cleaned up...Didn’t get to bed ‘til almost 3am and then was up all night because I got food-poisoning Smiley cry

Went to a wedding last year. It took around 20 minutes for all of the family to walk down the aisle. Then the rest of the bridal party, and when it got to the bride, no one stood up for her! Except me, my FH and our friend. So once she was close to the end of the aisle everyone else finally stood. Well no one ever said to be seated, so everyone stood until they got to the I do’s! Then we all sat down and had to stand back up. Couldn’t hear a word during the ceremony. Then we did the send off. After the send off they did pics, and so everyone waited for like an hour and a half while they did that (no cocktails or anything). So by then everyone was starving. When everyone got their food the bridal party was seated really far away and up high on a stage, which to me was kind of weird and awkward. Ran out of food too. No one danced. The speakers were so loud and choppy sounding, and you couldn’t hear a word the dj was saying. Oh and the ring bearer was a 20 year old (friend of bride) and she’s the only one that made a speech and she actually said some hateful things during it! The weirdest part to me though was that the bride kept sneaking downstairs to drink with some people, including a guy she had a crush on. It was just all around a weird wedding I think
