What's the farthest you've ever traveled to attend a wedding?

Will you go the distance for your friends' weddings? What's the farthest you've traveled?

I'm setting my new personal record right now as I fly to Ireland for a wedding! ✈️ It's also my and my husband's first wedding out of the country, and feels like our first true destination wedding!

How far have you traveled to attend a wedding?

The farthest I've travelled for weddings is from NY to TX. Made that trip twice for 2 of my cousins.

The only out of town wedding I went was in Minnesota and I live in Florida. My fiance's (then boyfriend) best friend got married and he was the bestman.

The furthest I've traveled is from Tennessee to South Alabama (about 6 hours). We'll be traveling from Tennessee to Miami for a wedding sometime next year, though.

I haven’t really traveled a lot for a wedding, but within the next year or so, we have 2 weddings in Florida to go to. He’s the best man in one and I’m the maid of honor in the other.

I've never left the state. I'd say maybe 30 minutes at most

My furthest wedding was from Arkansas to Florida. It was a 12 hour drive, but we made a vacation out of it so it was worth it!

The farthest was from NYC to FL. 3 times. Most recent was a 5 hr drive from NYC to Massachusetts and then driving back the same night. That was work

I’ve traveled from Vermont to Virginia for a wedding. My cousin is getting married in the Bahamas in January, and I really want to go, but because of my own wedding planning I just can’t afford it Smiley sad

My husband and I went to Dubai (so around 6k miles) last year (from Boston MA) for a friend's wedding. We made a vacation out of it and stayed for 10 days.

The furthest I've traveled was an hour away. Not very far at all. Ours will be out of state, but only about 5 hours away.

New Jersey (southern) to Hawaii. I had friends move there and they decided instead of having a destination wedding in Mexico to just have it in Maui where they’re living.

We went to H's cousin's wedding in Breckenridge, CO last year which is about a 10 hour drive for us. Two weeks after that wedding, we went to his best friend's wedding in Minnesota (don't remember the city) and that was about a 6 hour drive for us. All the other weddings we've been to have been fairly local (under an hour).
