What's REALLY "your song"?

Our song is "Say You Won't Let Go" by James Arthur. We aren't doing our first dance to it, but I am walking down the aisle to a violin cover of it!

Ughhh our jam is Danza Kuduro by Don Omar ft. Lucenzo. We have joke songs that we mock each other with like Pony by Ginuwine or Crazy B!+€& by Buckcherry but it's not like they speak to our relationship or anything. When I first met my husband he programmed Pony as the ringtone for him in my phone and when I was doing my college senior intro for cheerleading I let him pick the song no questions asked and that's how I became the Crazy B lol

I completely agree with you, I think our solo dancing time will be approx 1 1/2 min as well.

Our song is We Belong by Pat Benatar, but our music for our wedding was more Rat Pack, Swing, 50's and Motown/Funk so we ended up choosing Can't Help Falling in Love for our first dance.

"No Hands" Wale. It will definitely be played, just not for our first dance. Also I have family members who say they can't listen to "Buy You A Drank" T-Pain without thinking of my FH and I after we sung it during Kareokee night last Christmas. That will be played as well.

Our actual song is "Happy" by Pharrell Williams. Everyone makes fun of us for liking that song, but I don't care. About a month into us dating, I had yet to hear it and the night he first played it for me, he said it reminded him of me. So sweet! We will play that song at our wedding, but it won't be for our first dance. We haven't picked that song out yet.

Our song is not what we will be dancing to.

I’m a professional dancer and I choreography wedding dances all the time. It is so heartbreaking to see couples insist on doing something that just will not work. So we picked out the song based on a dance that worked with our theme, dance floor, dress and most importantly with the fact that my fiancé does not dance at all.

We decided to go with “Carried Away” by George Strait then “our” song will be played for our grand entrance.

Our wedding song has kind of become our song. It's "Living Inside My Heart" by Bob Seger. We dance every time we hear it, and dance to other songs too. We dance around our living room a lot, lol, but more so to fast songs.

If I had to choose something else as our song, it would probably be "Somewhere Only We Know" by Keane, even though it's a breakup song. FH's other favorite slow song is "Faithfully" by Journey, and we also always dance to "Running to Stand Still" by U2. We also can't help but dance to "Mo Money Mo Problems" by Biggie and "Doin it" by LL. There are so many others.

Partially space and partially just the vibe of the night. It will still be lots of fun and we'll still have music, but no dancing.

LOL, songs that make me think of my husband are "N***** in Paris" by Kanye West and Jay-Z and "Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga. Not first dance material whatsoever. The DJ did play some Gaga though.

No one believes me when I say that lol! We had a conversation years ago about how we should have a song and we both really like Eminem soooo... Oops. Definitely not using it for our first dance 😂😂😂

FH and I went to a karaoke bar when we first started dating and sang “Helena” by My Chemical Romance together. We’re not very traditional so that emo-rock ballad fits for our first dance. It’s almost 3 years later and we’ve become regulars there. We’ll do other duets but that’s “our song”. I also found a string quartet cover of it and I’m going to surprise him with that song when I walk down the aisle. He said he’ll probably bawl through the whole ceremony so I’m sure the tears will begin then.

Our first dance will be "I don't dance" by Lee Brice FH really didn't dance until we met, and even before we met, I had dreamt that someday I would be swept off my feet by a man that felt that way about his SO.

For our grand entrance our entry song is Oops! I did it again! By Brittney Spears, this is our 2nd marriage for both of us and found it hilarious. It's even on our cups as favors as Oops! We did it again!
