I have old, new, and blue. I can't seem to decide on what should borrowed though. Inspire me!

My mother's black pearl necklace. There is a photo of her putting it on me while getting ready, too. Can't find it right now.

I borrowed the necklace that my great-grandmother wore when she married my great-grandfather. My grandmother wore it when she married my Grandfather and my cousin wore it when she married her husband.

The handkerchief idea has been the most appealing "Something borrowed" for me so far - especially since my mom recently found a bunch of her grandmother's handkerchiefs

I've asked my big sister to give me something of hers from her wedding if she's able to come (she's pregnant, due in May). My advice is go for something easy to add to your attire like a handkerchief, pin, or piece of jewelry.

@OG Alecia: what sorority? (Curious if we're sisters by ritual.)

I am borrowing a simple diamond pendant necklace from my FH's aunt; the necklace has been worn by his great grandmother and all the women in his family when they got married. My something old will be my cowboy boots, new will be my dress, and blue my garter.

I borrowed a diamond bracelet from SIL that belonged to her (and DHs) grandmother. She wore it at her wedding too.

My FMIL has generously offered to let me wear the pearls she received as a gift from my FFIL on their wedding day. I'm so touched and I can't wait to wear them.

My borrowed was a pearl necklace that my late grandfather brought back from the Korean War! He actually brought back 3 of them - one for his mother, his grandmother, and his wife (my late grandma). Now that they are all passed, the pearls belong my mom and aunts. I borrowed my mom's of course; it was very special to wear it!

I borrowed a ring from my bridesmaid that I have known since elementary school (just something she wears everyday)
