My borrowed is my sisters veil. New is the dress of course. The blue will be a heart shaped swatch of one of my fathers dress shirts sewn to the inside of my dress. He passed February 2015. Then my old is one of his Marine Corp medals I'll have pinned in the middle of the heart.

I'm borrowing a traditional Norwegian brooch from my mother! I wanted a way to honour my heritage and the brooch in particular is sentimental because it was a gift from her cousins (family we are close to from there).

Mine is my great-grandmother's wedding band, which my grandmother has worn ever since great-grandma's passing. That ring has been worn for over 100 years, and it fits pretty well on my pinky, so I'm excited to borrow it. Before I thought of that, I was just going to borrow a bracelet, or earrings, or even my sister's lip gloss!

I'm hoping to borrow something from FH's grandmother. She and FH's grandfather were married almost 60 years before he passed, so I'm hoping she'll have something for me! I figure I can wear a bracelet or ring, or wrap a necklace into my bouquet or pin on a brooch.

As of right now, it's the corset tie for my dress. I want a blue one and a friend has one she is going to loan me when the time comes.

I'm having trouble too! Although when I was trying on my dress again recently my MOH explained that she has the blue and borrowed already taken care of, although I have a ring and matching earrings that have sapphires in them that I'm already planning on wearing for the wedding. All of my jewelry, including my engagement ring, have been made from my grandmothers wedding ring, a bracelet and a necklace I inherited from her so there's no way I'm not wearing any of it. Is it weird that I don't know what my something borrowed will be? Or is that normal?

My something old (great great grandma's broach) probably be my something borrowed as well.

I just can't think of anything else.

I MIGHT use my sister's veil, but I'm leaning towards purchasing a bird cage veil instead.

I borrowed jewelry from DH's Mom!

I also borrowed a slip from my cousin. My Aunt is offering it up to every female cousin getting married, so its become a tradition. My cousin wore it, her sister (my cousin wore it), I wore it, and my younger cousin is wearing it this year for her wedding!

I'm borrowing jewelry from my mom. I love her jewelry collection

My something old is my engagement ring. The diamond is FH great great grandmothers. For my something new, I got one of FH old name patch from his uniform and I'm having it sewn in to my dress inside as my new name. I still don't know what my something blue will be. Maybe shoes

My sisters veil is my something borrowed. I might also borrow her underskirt, too, lol.

My something new is my dress and shoes, but I don't have my something blue yet. But with blue being my favorite color, I'm sure I'll think of something.

We are having a Tardis brought for our wedding. It is a bit cheesy to some but since we are both geeks, it is a really cool way to incorporate an element from the show and to have a moment like Amy and Rory's wedding in the 11th Doctor series. I'm not in this photo but, this is the Tardis that we will be borrowing.
